64 Bobby Chiu The irrepressible and multi-faceted creator behind the Emmy Award winning Niko and the Sword of Light , takes time out from his busy schedule to chat with illustrators . PR: Did you always draw? BC: Ever since I could remember. PR: Were any other members of your family artistic? BC: Nobody that drew professionally, but my mother is naturally artistic and really encouraged me to do art when I was a child. PR: Where did you train? BC: I still train. The last 10 years I’ve been taking classes from my fellow instructors on my online school, LEFT: Pokemon Bulbasaur . Bobby’s abilities to create an alternate universe peopled with whimsical, charming, funny and sometimes threatening creatures is in a league of its own.
