80 Peter Richardson Her , at incredibly short notice, we have managed to secure an interview with the editor of illustrators , as he talks about his other day job—illustration. IQ: Did you always draw? PR: Yes—from when I could first hold a pencil. I remember my mother entertaining my little brother and me by taking a pencil line on a journey around a piece of paper and the line turning into the outline of a car. Magic! IQ: Were any other members of your family artistic? PR: My mother, most definitely was artistic. She had the misfortune to come from a generation of young women who would have loved to go to Art College, but were denied the opportunity because it ABOVE: 'Serena', an image for a French children's clothing retailer.
