RANGER Pages 60-63: Lawrence illustrated two episodes of the ‘At First Hand’ feature for Ranger in issues dated 9 October and 6 November 1965. Pages 64-87: All of Lawrence’s illustrations for the series ‘The Range Rider’, a western serial by John Hunter that appeared in Ranger between 18 September 1965 and 12 February 1966. 56 The debut issue of Ranger carried a motor-racing feature entitled ‘Cars and All About Them’ written by Graham Tomlinson.
