These are the unique original Gouache paintings by Gerry Wood.

Two fantastic pages by Gerry Wood painted for the British comic Look and Learn, published 4-03-1978.

Whilst Brinka battles a huge red eyed creature, Corin discovers the kidnapped village folk trapped in the creatures' web.

The story was written by the series' creator Mike Butterworth who was coming to the end of his tenure. Plenty of drama and lots of bold colour typical of Wood's approach to his Look and Learn work.

There has been a recent resurgence in interest in the Trigan Empire, with new editions becoming available - we have many pages by all the artists who worked on the strip, so do take a moment to browse the available pieces online.
