Ron Embleton paints this poignant scene from The Magic Apples, as Prince Roland returns home triumphantly with the golden apples he needs to help cure his father securely in his pouch, or so he thinks! Unbeknownst to him, he has been tricked by his evil older brothers.

This is an original painted panel from The Magic Apples, published in the short lived British comic 'The Wonderful World of Disney' in 1976. The comic was merged with 'Disneyland magazine' after issue 19.
