This gorgeous colour pencil drawing was drawn by Jill Murphy for All In One Piece, her cult picture book featuring ‘The Large Family’.

Mr and Mrs Large are desperate for a night out at the dance, and the story tells of their children thwarting their attempts!

Published in 1987 to huge acclaim, this is a chance to own a signed piece of artwork which appeared in the book.

The Large Family, quickly became a favourite with families around the globe and became such household favourites in fact, that The BBC decided to adapt them for television.

There are now several series of 'The Large Family' available to watch as well as to read in many languages.

Jill Murphy's observations are beautiful and full of humour, both for younger readers and also adults.

Murphy has been commended, shortlisted and won a plethora of book awards including The Smarties Prize, the Kate Greenaway Medal, the Children's Book Award and the Gateshead Gold Award to name just a few.
