This is the unique original Pen & Ink Wash by Antonio Lupatelli.

The boy soldier comes a cropper when his friend plays at being a doctor. The soldier boy was a long suffering straight man in this Jack and Jill series. Lupatelli had a long career with Amalgamated / Fleetway pre-school titles.

Undated but thought to have been first printed 1969 with the panels remounted for later reprint use in Playhour, probably 1985.
