This is the unique original Gouache painting by Bernard Long.

Thylacinus, Diprotodon and Procoptodon. The first was a carnivorous marsupial the last of its family was known as the Tasmanian Tiger and was hunted to extinction in the 1930s.

The second is also known as the Giant Wombat and could grow to three metres in length.

The last was a giant short faced Kangaroo.

As might be imagined all three lived in what is now Australia during the Pleistocene era.

This colourful art was published as pages 44 & 45 of the book Prehistoric Animals by artist Bernard Long and author Rupert Oliver.
