Featuring Princess Pocahontas the Red Indian beauty who Captivated London with 5 Matania illustrations and Flora MacDonald and Bonnie Prince Charlie with 6 Matania illustrations.

London Life started as a weekly published in a larger-than-A4 format, but war rationing forced it to drop frequency to fortnightly (1942) and then monthly; and its size to A5 (1942).

London Life magazine was published by New Picture Press, from offices at 31 Craven Street, off the Strand in London. The contents were a mixture of pin-ups, stories and humour.

From the late 1940s to the early 1950s Fortunino Matania contributed historical articles accompanied by his own illustrations. Some of his finest artwork was featured in this magazine.
