Cars, including gangsters, being stopped by the police, and filling up at a petrol station. A montage of scenes from 1920s motoring.
On the left gangsters make a get-away in a powerful roadster in a scene representing Chicago.
Lower right, a more sedate American motorist is having his tank filled with "gas".
Top right a British motorist is not impressing his date as he argues with a policeman over parking on a white line.
The original publication would have been in Treasure around 1970. We know that the piece was re-used for the World of Knowledge Annual 1983.
