Cult favourite Jane Bond was beautifully drawn by Mike Hubbard who also drew that other well known British Comics beauty, Jane, for the Daily Mirror.
This younger Jane was more modest in her wardrobe and her adventures were a schoolgirl riff on James Bond, also no relation, at least not officially. She fought her nemesis Leopold a.k.a. Lobster in various exotic locales and indeed girl's schools.
The strip started in Tina comic February 1967 and continued through the merger with Princess in September of that year until the Spy craze bit the dust in 1970. All known episodes show the wonderful work of Mike Hubbard.
This episode is from Tina #9 May 1967.
