This is the Signed unique original Watercolour painting by Wilf Hardy.

Look and Learn #967 20 September 1980 gave readers the opportunity to win tickets for an air show at RAF Finningley near Doncaster. Part of the show was the 48th running of the King's Cup air race (top panel).

This was an important event as prototype planes from various manufacturers were entered, the most successful of which entered service with the RAF. There was also a memorial fly past to salute the aircraft that helped win World War II.

The panel bottom right shows a Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire and Avro Lancaster all of which were represented at the show.
