This is the Signed original Pen & Ink drawing by Gerry Embleton.

Sergeant and enlisted man from The Tom Green Rifles who were part of the 4th Texas Volunteer Infantry Regiment organised at Camp Texas, Richmond, Virginia in October 1861 as part of the Confederate Army in the American Civil War.

The uniforms were various shades of grey trimmed with black braid. Many Texans, including this sergeant wore silver stars. He is also wearing a crimson sash and sword. (From notes by the artist). Originally published in Tradition magazine.
