This is the unique original Mixed Media art by Neville Dear.

From an article about treasure hunters the famous story of the Nazi plot to flood Britain with counterfeit bank notes - thus ruining the economy. The war ended before the plan could go into action.

The notes were crated up and transported to an Austrian lake where the ship was sunk in 300 metres of water. Only a few samples were brought to the surface to be destroyed. The rest, allegedly, is still down there.
