Character created by Frank Hampson, featuring Frank Bellamy art. The original & best UK science fiction character strip, Dan Dare, created & illustrated by the Frank Hampson Studios. He appeared in the UK weekly Comic Eagle, which continued for twenty years, starting in 1950. Run as a two-page full colour strip, stories ran for months.

This Volume reprints entirely, the original stories from Eagle Volume 11 & part of 12, 1961-2. The story titles are The Solid-Space Mystery, The Earth Stealers & The Platinum Planet. This is a high quality reprinting of classic UK Comic art, which are themselves out of print & now difficult to obtain.
