This is the Signed unique original Gouache painting by Ralph Bruce.

The End of an Era: King of the Bare-Knuckle Boxers. After his meteoric boxing career, John L. Sullivan loved to make speeches and spent money on a vast scale.

Sullivan defeated Jake Kilrain at the start of round 76 out of 80 in that last bare-knuckle championship fight. His second threw in the towel believing Kilrain would have died had he continued. Signed off the lower right section of the image.
