An interesting page originally painted for inclusion in I See All: The World's First Picture Encyclopaedia with 100,000 Pictures Of People Places and Things and an Atlas of Every Country in the World.

This was a weekly part-work magazine that became a five volume encyclopaedia edited by Arthur Mee. It was published by Amalgamated Press between 1928-1930.

Each caterpillar has been painted on another board and glued onto the present board which shows some discoloration due to age. This is reflected in the price.
