86 Out There: Mike Zagorski Mike Zagorski is an artist whose illustrations are so guilelessly weird that they compel the viewer to take a second and even a third look. His passion for his subject matter is such that his drawings are imbued with an intensity that immediately transmits itself to his audience. Mike Zagorski is a complete one-off, the kind of impassioned and compulsive artist that we at Illustrators just love to check out. He was introduced to us by Ron Murphy aka ‘Arty Freeman’, who has known Mike for over thirty years. It’s also worth mentioning that ‘Arty Freeman’ is another artistic one-off, who in turn was introduced to us by the legendary “World’s Best Artist” Mitch O’Connell. As the saying goes, “It takes one to know one!”. As Ron relates, “the first time that I ever went over to ABOVE: 'Sexy Slayer': dominant women, dinosaurs and decorous female feet are recurring themes in much of Mike's work.
