These are the Signed unique original Watercolour paintings by John Worsley.Wee Willie Winkie rides through India in a beautiful pink Cadillac in this adventure painted by John Worsley. Worsley's sumptuous watercolours abound with light as his choice of colours and fluid brush strokes make for very emotive pieces.
Painted for issue of 34 of Treasure magazine, this is a lovely stand alone piece featuring the Palace of The Winds (The Howa Mahal), which was built in the shape of Krishna's crown.
Please note: this painting comes with a free additional watercolour by John Worsley painted for the same adventure!
Worsley, who spent time in a P.O.W. camp after being captured in Yugoslavia during World War II, achieves a fantastic liberation from the past by painting in such a fluid joyful manner.
Worsley's work can be found in The Imperial War Museum, The Maritime Museum, The collection of HM The Queen, The Savage club and many other private collections including those of Royal Families, banks and Colleges.
