This is the Signed unique original Pen & Ink Wash by Ralph Bruce.

The new German Commander-in-Chief, appointed by Hitler in February 1945, orders the removal of all Union Jacks in the Channel Islands during the latter stages of the occupation.

His job was to try and suppress the growing insubordination of the islanders. From the series of articles telling the history of the Nazi occupation of the Channel Islands during World War II.
