This is the Signed original Watercolour painting by Ralph Bruce.

A last minute reprieve saved Fyodor Dostoievski (aka Dostoyevsky) from the firing squad and gave the world a novelist of unsurpassed brilliance. (Other accounts state it was a mock execution) in any event he served time in Siberia which formed the basis for his novel The House of the Dead.
